.Day 57. *Ring-a-Bling*

I know we have been talking about rings before. Since the time I got here I'm in search of one ring to buy (hehehe! engagement ring to myself ). So I bought one silver ring with a lot of diamonds in it (fake lang syempre). Everytime I go out I make sure I wear a ring on my left hand (feeling engaged na). A friend of Siena saw the ring and asked if I was engaged na?! (nagsmile lang ako: i wish!). Pero atleast effective, strangers will think I'm engaged or even so married na. Isang strategy for people not to bother me especially sa subway (no.1 tip: I always bring my iPod para talagang hindi nila ako kakausapin and yung ring). Well I guess natuwa ako so now I have 4 different rings. (ahahaah!kikay talaga wifey mo!)







Natutuwa naman ako and realized na magiging collection kona ata mga rings. :P (hanggang wala pa nagbibigay saken ng wedding ring, eto muna *ehem ehem* ahahaha!)

I stayed home lang kahapon. It was Cyber Monday SALE! kaya tingin-tingin lang ako stuff. May mga pinapabile kase mga friends ko so ayun busy-busyhan ako online.Hahanap din ako mura na digicam because I badly need one na! Ayun lang po.

.Day 55 - 56. Out with the Girls

dear Gelo Belano,

My friend Siena called me and told that she's in NY with her other friends and wanted to see me. Siena is one of my close friends back in HS, yung ate nya kabarkada din ni ate P. So most of my pagdadalaga I spend it with her : mga gimiks, out-of-town, home party, pangboboys (heheheh). They have been really close to our families aswell, kilala sila ng parents ko and vice versa. Memories! Aside from my HS kada sila naman ang Tropa. (pics)

Nagenjoy naman ako touring them around. Next time ako naman magvisit sa kanila sa Chicago and Maryland.

Thank you for the text conversation. I know you keep on hearing me complain, doubt,question things and tampo. Nafeefeel ko kase na may mali and I want you to know naman, kesa maipon then masira nalang tayo. So bear with me hubby for being emotional , madrama and makulit! I guess that's just me. No pretentions.

.Day 53 - 54. Thanksgiving & Black Friday Sale

dear Gelo Belano,

It seemed like Christmas without the presents nga lang. Everyone cooked and I surely got super busog!

Before we sleep we checked the online sales since all the stores are having all their goodies for the Black Friday Sale. Nakakaloka everyone here are so excited that the earliest store opened at 12 midnight. SHOPPING!

So being curious I woke up early tingin-tingin ng buys online. Pero nagaya si mama to go to the Healthcare Agency. Ayun I signed their application and they had vacant positions dun sa office nila. That's something that's going to be another "wait and see". (Pag-pray nalang naten yung status ko dito hubby ko). Thank you for the support and for talking to me about it, I feel relieved now and secured na naiintindihan moko. (muahugs!)

Back to shopping, kameng dalawa lang ni mama nagikot-ikot sa 34th street kung nasan mga huge stores. Nakabile ako ng bag sa ZARA, mga pangregalo for girlfriends at ang pinaka bargain na nakuha namen ; a brand new coat from HnM: original price $70 nabile nalang namen ng $10 (bwahaha!ganon ka ake discount namen just because hinde nakatahi yung 2 buttons)Nakakaloka diba! Yun lang masaya dito kase palageng may sale! Kelangan lang talaga maging smart-buyer, para you get great deals.

I admit I'm a "bagaholic"...(not necessarily mahal; gusto ko yung multi-function: pwedeng shoulder bag and body bag at the same time and neutral/bold colors) :)

Ilang tulog nalang DECEMBER na!!!! Dame celebrations...yipeee!!!

.Day 50. Rian goes to market

Another day of walking: we went to Chelsea Market, sinamahan namen tita ko on meeting her friends. Ayun super haba nanaman ng nilakad namen.Sobrang lawak naman kase ng streets dito and wala kang choice kung hinde maglakad (kase mahal cab ,plug down is $3). Pero sakto lang lamig kahapon,kaya ok lang!


Ayun medyo wala naman magawa sa market kase dun lang kme sa mga kainan pumunta. I just ate gelatto na libre ni daddy na share kame ni mama. (masarap pero mas masarap ka .ahahah.)

Pag-uwe namen nagkulong lang ako sa kwarto and rested my tired legs and feet. Nagcamwhore nga ako then you called so i got totally distracted (hihihi! ikaw kase eh) Then kaninang morning isend ko dapat sayo kaso na delete ko lahat ng pics. (sorry not meant) Next time mas maganda pa! ok??? +muah+

today is DAY 50 - grabe survive pa din tyo! Yipeee!!! i love you so much hubby ko!

Mag December na din.. grabe medyo nagpapanic nako kase wala pako christmas gifts to everyone.. actually mga anak ng friends ang priority! (hinde kona regaluhan mga mommy friends ko,anak nalang nila hehehhe) Malapit na birthday mo, isip pako gift (hinde kita bibigyan ng keychain - surprise nalang) pero ano nga ba gusto mo???

.Day 49. Laundry day

Hiyee! grabe natambakan kme labada, 2 weeks kame hinde naglaba. Well may lakad sila mama and daddy kaya kme nalang ni Tin pumunta sa laundry shop. Six big bags of clothes ang binitbit namen. In fairness tama ka madali lang maglaba dito kase machine naman lahat gagawa. zold school huhulugan ng quarters then tapos na. Ang nakakatamad lang magfold at magsort ng damit.(hehehe)

Ayan ah nagprapractice na wife mo maglaba.(hihihi) Ikaw na bahala magplantsa ha!?!

.Day 45-48. Late ang bata

dear Gelo Belano,


Sorry it's been 4 days before I get to post. Simula Sunday til Friday hindi ako lumabas ng bahay. I really don't feel like going out (wala ako gana). Hinde ko din feel maglakwatsa(usually hinde ako tumatagal ng 4 days sa loob lang ng bahay) Kaya naman I decided to go out with daddy kahapon. Punta kame Century 21, they are selling designer clothes and shoes for 70% off. I bought a dress and winter boots (actually hinde ko mauuwe yung boots sa Pinas kase sa loob parang may carpet sya kaya super inet yet lambot-perfect for walking around; on the other hand yung dress naman hindi ko masuot dito kase it's manipes,see-through and gusto ko kasama kita pagsuotin ko eto :P).

Nagworkout ako the other day,may sinusundan lang ako na instructor si Gilad (ahahah!twag namen si gilagid) Anyways, pang body sculpting yung routine nya kaya hinde nako nagdumbells kase magiging maskuladang babae na ako nyan. Gusto ko lang ma-tone muscles ko and work on my abs,butt and thighs. (goodluck nalang sa tummy ko) At syempre may picture ako (ahahah)

I woke up today,malungkot kaya hindi kita kinukulit sa text kanina kase nagsousoundtrip lang ako while eat breakfast. Then nung check ko FB,my bestfriend Cates who's in Maryland feels the same way (pareho tlga takbo ng utak namen,hehe!) We were both missing our friends sa Pinas (yung pag wala kang magawa you can just go to their house and tambay/inom). Yung lahat excited basta nagtawag na ng meeting ang barkada: kase for sure masaya nanaman and enjoy lang kahet sa isang gabe lang maging worry-free. Eversince kase sanay ako na lage may lakad, laging may UBE "ultimate bonding experience". Nakakamiss lang, medyo hinde na din madalas mangyare yun kase everyone's busy. Mas lalo na mga tao dito - yung niloolook forward ko na friends dito sa NY until now hindi kopa nakikita (busy sa school at work). Sabe nga namen ni Cates iba ang mga kaibigan sa Pinas yung kahet masakit-ulo,malalate,walang pera nakakasulpot pa din kase ang objective is Good Company. Kahet may problema nagiging masaya pa din.

Namisunderstood mo ata ako nung sinabe ko na "gusto kong uminom,mamamatay ako na walang alak" well what I mean is gusto ko magchill kasama friends (magkwentuhan-magtsismisan-magfoodtrip-magtawanan-magkulitan). Not that uhaw na uhaw na ako uminom ng alak. Nagkakataon lang na mas less stress lang pag may alak. *muah* For the record wala pa ako violent thing na ginawa when I'm drunk. Crazy stuff:yes! pero hinde to the point na ikakasira ko. One more thing I'm behave na kase I know na you worry everytime na iinom ako na hindi kita kasama. Ako din naman nagwoworry kapag umiinom ka dyan lalo na pag may girls ka kasama (baka kase bumigay ka kapag may magseduce sayo;huhuhu!).

.Day 41-44.Phonepal- New Phone,New FB & Email - Homesick

dear Gelo Belano,

Awwww... (hugs you tight) Thank you sa mga calls... for making all the effort para magkaron tyo ng way to communicate. I'm really happy to have you in my life. I love you hubby ko!

Ayan bago na FB mo and email, kung sino man naghack ng account mo nakakbwisit sya.(:p) Anyways atleast fresh na fresh ang page mo and now maayos mo na friend's list mo, wag kana add ng d mo kilala ah.(ahahah) Naadict nako sa cartown (frustrated driver tlaga ako). That's the first thing na asikasuhin ko pagbalik ko my driver's license. (at sana ok na yung papagamet na car).

Nahohome-sick nanaman ako kaya nanuod ako ng ASAP online binigay saken ni mama yung website where I can watch all pinoy tv shows. (and I'm watching last Sunday's show). Yan naman wala dito sa states wala sila shows like ASAP, karamihan mga reality shows (nakakairita dba,minsan hinde na entertaining) Ang pinapanood ko lang dto HBO,Cooking Channel,Food Network,HGTV,Style network. Nagdodownload nalang din ako FREE applications sa iTouch para maaliw naman ako (kakaibang aliw-ahahah) *winks*

Anyways most of the time dito lang ako sa bahay. Napapagod kase ako maglalakad dito and the weather is so cold. Hinde ata ako pwede sa malamig na lugar (pero aircon is always appreciated dyan sa Pinas,heheh).

.Day 35 - 37. Miss you like crazy

dear Gelo Belano,

Haaay! inaaliw ko nalang sarile ko by playing wii games, shopping, kumaen ng kumaen but still I can feel the emptiness 'coz we're away from eachother. Buti nalang we can communicate anytime sa cellphone. (hehehe!but I'm really hoping na maayos na laptop mo or buy na kayo ni ate ng desktop para by the time na maglagay kana dsl ok na lahat) Pero don't worry kaya kopa naman po! (try ko mag load sa phone para I can call you and hear your voice man lang,k?)

.Day 33 - 34. Books n Clothes Shopping

dear Gelo Belano,

Hiyee hubby ko! I got my reviewers ready na. Nagkita nanaman kme ng Nursing Book ko(Saunders). It's like those big,heavy yellow pages book.(Makapal na Mabigat). Gagawin ko muna syang kabit ko (ahahahha!pero syampre ikaw No.1). Ayun I feel better naman now na my friends are very supportive and would help me pass NCLEX.

Mom and I had a Saturday Shopping (bute naman kase buong week ako nagwi-window shopping online, don't worry mga nakasale naman binile ko *tipiders*)I was pretty tired when we got home..(nanakit legs ko.huhuhu!) But it was all worth it! I got new stuff for our wardrobe (yun lang it's getting colder and colder so ang highlight ng getup ay ang fall/winter jacket). One of this days magplay ako dress up then take pictures for you to see (namiss ko tuloy yung manequin ko sa pinas)

.Day 32. I'm Bored!

Officially it's been a month since I got here. Ang bilis ng panahon!

It was pouring rain the entire day. (bed weather:sarap lang makipagyakapan sana with you!*winks*) Gigil talaga ako sayo! (I miss seeing my yummy-sexy-hubby).

The last time I went out was last Monday pa, 3 days being at home made me so boooored.So I decided to get rid of the pile of clothes lying down the sofa waiting to be sorted out and be kept. I made dinner: bbq spare ribs + salad (nahahasa na ang cooking ko dito: pwede nako magasawa). Nothing new, I just miss you more and more. Yet I need to be strong and make the most of my stay here (hopefully no more anxiety attack).

One more thing happy pala ako to find out that your parents like me and they gave me their thumbs up (whew! i really appreciate them being vocal about it). .Day 30-31. Migraine Girl

Wahh! I'm having terrible headaches the entire day. Hindi kopa mafigure out if ano cause. Well hindi effective yung pain reliever nila here.(heheh) Naghahanap ako ng Dolfenal yung fave sa H.E. pag masakit ulo sa work.Ohwell my 30 mins is over (heheh! masunuring bata)

.Day 29. Through Joy & Sadness = We Survive!

Went out with my close friends from UMAK (nursing school). They have been my family during those stressful times and when I was living on my own. I could never imagine enjoying and surviving nursing school without them. Iba tlga bonding namen (I consider them my 2nd family) kaya naman I was so delighted when I saw them. Well Cates went here in New York to celebrate her success in passing the NCLEX at the same time we were waiting for Kate's exam results. While we were having lunch we got the news that she passed aswell. Kaya double celebration kame yesterday.


Yet on the otherhand I got pressureed. Somewhat everything just fell down on me. I got really worried kase now they all are expecting from me. Worse nagchain reaction na lahat. Naisip kona expectations ng family ko saken, ng mga friends ko na nandayan sa pinas, ng mga relatives ko, even you nadamay ko sa winoworry ko. Breakdown talaga ako kagabe. I usually encounter those times pag alam ko na I'm about to face something BIG. Next on my checklist na kase is to take the NCLEX and pass it! I cried kase alam ko na i'd be sacrificing a lot nanaman when I start to review. Just like what happened nung nagrereview ako for Nursing Local Board Exams. Aral lang tlga - hindi ako nakikigulo sa bahay- hinde ko pinapansin mga news bout a person in my past - 3 tao lang lagi ko kasama magstudy - kahet sila ate pia and carlo hindi ko kinakamusta. (Ganon ako ka addict magaral). Ewan ko lang ano magandang strategy ngayon since nasa ibang environment nanaman ako.For sure sasabayan ko nalang si Tin mag-aral para hinde ako guluhin ng magulang ko or as usual mag-iPod lang ako para may sarile akong mundo. Naweiweirdohan kana ba saken hubby ko??? (ahahahha!)

OK nako now! (promise) Kelangan ko lang tlga umiyak,uminom,mag-isip magisa (that's how i handle dilemas in my life) Ayoko na malaman ng Family ko na nahihirapan ako now na ang dame kong kelangan ayusin. You, Nary, Cates, Denisse, Anton lang ang tatakbuhan ko sa ganung klaseng times. (meron kase iba na hindi comforting, yung sesermonan kapa sa mga moments na confused and unsure nanga ako -mas lalo kase nakakapressure) Syempre kasama ka na dun sa category ng mga tao na "No-Secrets Allowed" about my life (kahet ayoko sabihen na umiinom ako lastnight,sinabe kopa din kase I know you have the right to know kase alam ko maiintindihan moko and you would make me feel better). *hugsies* I love you hubby ko! Thanks for being my bestfriend!

.Day 28. Halloween Treat

Happy Halloween! (ahahahah!) Actually hindi ko sya masyadong nafeel 'coz it was so cold outside that we didn't stroll around that much to watch the kids go crazy trick or treating with their costumes on. Yet there were a lot of scary adults wearing masks that looked like a killer (kakatakot!kase baka bigla ka nalang saksakin..heehehe) Then I only have 1 pic of kids waiting for the bus with their kakaaliw costumes. (sarap din sana mag costume kung andto mga friends ko,kaso I went out with mother and father - pero niloloko nila ako na bigyan nila ako pumpkin bucket kase muka pa naman daw ako bata dito kaya bibigyan pa rin naman daw ako candy- PASAWAY!)

'Ope you had fun aswell! Next year kelangan kona ng costume.(damayan moko ikaw din ha!) :P
